A brand refresh for a branding agency.

What happens when a branding agency needs their own existing brand refresh? Take a peek behind-the-scenes at how we recently tackled our own brand refresh at Powell Creative!

We spend our days creating effective, up-to-date brands for our clients. From creative logos to massive website projects, we’re all about building memorable brands.

So when we realized our brand was feeling a bit stale, we knew it was time for an update.

What is a brand refresh?

If you’re a business owner or have worked with a company for more than a few years, you know that things inevitably shift as your business grows. Your target audience, deliverables, goals, and areas of interest all grow and change as you get even better at the thing your company does best.

A brand refresh is a renovation and rejuvenation for your business.

It might be as simple as updating your color palette or more involved, with a new logo, colors, and other brand identity elements.

The beauty of a brand refresh is that it helps breathe new life and energize your brand equity, without the time and expense required for a full branding overhaul.

So what’s new at Powell Creative?

We’re excited to share the results of our rebranding process with you! You’ll see how small changes can make a big difference in how our established brand looks, shows up, and communicates with our audience.

First up: our main color. We stuck with the red – it’s who we are! – but we updated the shade to achieve a more modern, updated color.

We also made small tweaks to our logo. The changes may be small, but together with the color update, this refresh really helps Powell Creative stand out and look as on-trend as our design work.

As a full-service brand development firm, we serve clients in all aspects of the business. Our clients span a broad range of companies, services, and products. A big goal of our brand refresh was to make sure the visual identity of Powell Creative emphasizes our reach and capacity to work with varied clientele.

What else is included in a brand refresh?

The colors, logo, and small visual branding elements are the obvious elements included in a good brand refresh. But we also wanted to make sure we were positioning ourselves as the authority in brand design across a broad spectrum of clients.

We didn’t see our authority reflected clearly on our website, so we added detailed (and fun!) Case Studies detailing various projects for different clients. These Case Studies give our visitors and potential clients a chance to follow the project timelines: from Stylescape to brand messaging, social media, logo design, marketing materials and collateral, and website.

These Case Studies highlight our unique design process and impressive results. Potential clients can easily see what working with us looks like and what they can expect from a branding project with Powell Creative.

Our new brand better positions Powell Creative in the marketplace as a full-service brand development agency.

We’re so excited for you to explore our refreshed brand and check out our Case Studies!
