In the 1970's and 80's Wayne was a newspaper advertising executive at The Tennessean and Nashville Banner before transitioning from the media industry to the world of branding and design.

Wayne finds his greatest joy in the company of his wife, who goes by Keenan Powell - also known as Dr. Karen Keenan, a former Nashville dentist and currently an associate professor of dentistry at The College of Dentistry at Augusta University in Augusta, GA. They have one cherished 'child,' Tucker, their faithful dog.
